Alyssa Deley, BCBA & Trex

Alyssa, a devoted ABA professional with a background in Developmental Psychology, began her career in a pediatric hospital, where she observed the distinct treatment of typically and atypically developing children. This experience fueled her passion for bridging the care gap, leading her to specialize in ABA. Her medical field experience drives her focus on empowering clients in their medical care and daily tasks, with a strong emphasis on psychological well-being, compassion, empathy, and self-advocacy. Alyssa's diverse ABA experience includes working in schools, centers, and hospitals, catering to a wide age range of clients. She holds a Master of Education in Applied Behavior Analysis from the University of Pittsburgh, a Master of Science in Applied Developmental Psychology with specializations in Children with Special Healthcare Needs, Child Life, and Child and Youth Development. Additionally, she is BCBA and COBA certified and has specialized training in trauma-informed care. Passionate about her work, Alyssa cherishes witnessing her clients' growth and celebrating their achievements. At Building Blocks Therapy, she values the collaborative culture among BCBAs and RBTs, enhancing the center's compassionate and client-focused ideals.
