Our Day Program is an intensive, one-on-one program geared to teach essential social skills in a school setting.
The program is for children ages 2-8 with Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD).
The program runs year-round from 9:00 AM till 2:00 PM, Monday through Friday.
There’s a high staff-to-child ratio and ABA therapy takes places in our fun-filled clinic.
Using the Tested and Proven Preschool Life Skills Curriculum
We use the Preschool Life Skills (PLS) curriculum to teach social skills that early elementary teachers have identified as being critical to early school success.
The program is broken down into four teaching units:
- Instruction Following
- Functional Communication
The program is run by a lead Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) and multiple Board Certified Behavior Analysts (BCBA) are constantly providing guidance and support.
Every aspect of our program, from the curriculum to the classroom structure to the games we play, has been carefully chosen to help your child achieve maximum results.
Your Child Will LOVE Our Day Program!
There’s a fun sign-in, circle time, craft center, cafeteria style lunch time, sensory activities, thematic units, holidays, snack time, recap of the day and a goodbye song. There’s a cubbie system where each child has their own cubbie with their own materials. This personal space helps the child feel special and aids in establishing routine and structure.
And all this is done within the framework of ABA therapy.
Your kids won’t even realize they’re learning:
You’ll be amazed at how much they can learn and advance in such a fun environment.
And that’s the point.
To make their day as enjoyable, and therapeutic as possible.
Because of the small class size, your child will receive individualized attention. Every therapist will be aware your child’s IEP, VB-Mapp, and set up activities and guide them throughout their day accordingly.
You will receive constant updates on the progress of your child and any of our Day Program therapists are always available to answer any of your questions.
