Why did you choose to pursue a career in ABA?
I always knew that I wanted to provide therapy and I love working with children. In college I learned about ABA therapy and how it can change behavior in a positive way.
Do you have any special areas of interest?
I really enjoy working with a wide range of clients. I love working with younger children and seeing all the progress they make during intensive intervention. I also love working with problem behavior and determining the function in order to create a positive change for the client and their family.
What varied experience do you have in your field?
When I started my career in ABA, I provided therapy for older clients in their home and in the community focusing reducing significant problem behaviors and implementing parent training.
When I started at Building Blocks, I moved to more center-based therapy with a focus on Verbal Behavior with younger kids. I have worked with a wide range of clients doing both direct 1:1 therapy and supervision.
What degrees, licenses, certifications and/or special training do you hold?
What are you passionate about?
I really enjoyed getting to know all my clients on an individual basis and tailoring effective ABA procedures to each child.
