Feeding Therapy for Children with Autism

Feeding Without Tears

Looking to help your child overcome feeding difficulties? Our Feeding Therapy Program can be integrated into your child's ABA schedule.

Our "Feeding Without Tears" approach, developed by renowned BCBA-D Dr. Greg Hanley, has been applied successfully for over 30 years to improve children's behaviors. This skill-based approach creates an enriched environment that empowers children to make choices based on their level of comfort, ultimately motivating them to interact with and eventually eat new and non-preferred foods.

Choice-Driven, Child-Led

As the only ABA clinic in Ohio offering this approach, we strive to maximize your child's potential for success and independence by coordinating their thinking, speaking, hearing, seeing, feeling, smelling, and eating with helpful and developmentally appropriate body movements and behaviors. Our Feeding Therapy Approach can address a variety of feeding problems, including general feeding issues, picky eating, selective eating, and food refusal.

Our approach is highly effective, as children are given the choice to participate in the treatment and always have the option to leave or take a break. The process is partly child-led, allowing children to set the pace at which they progress. At Building Blocks Therapy, we are dedicated to helping your child overcome their feeding difficulties and achieve their full potential.
