Caitlin Wantz-Mikkonen, BCBA

Caitlin is a Board Certified Behavior Analyst with a passion for supporting children’s language and play development. She fell in love with ABA during a required field experience in college and has since gained varied experience working with young children to early adolescents in homes, schools, and center-based settings. Caitlin holds a BCBA and COBA certification and loves the family-like atmosphere at Building Blocks Therapy, where everyone supports and celebrates each other’s successes.

Caroline Lefler, BCBA

Caroline pursued a career in ABA because of her passion for working with special needs children. She finds it rewarding to see a child grow and achieve their goals. She particularly enjoys working with early learners and is currently getting certified in Autism Fitness to help clients with their gross motor skills. Caroline has worked in various settings, including homes, schools, and clinics, with clients ranging from 3 to 22 years old. She has experience with Skills Based Training for clients with high magnitude maladaptive behavior and teaching early learners how to communicate their wants and needs. Caroline holds a master’s in education with an Autism Specialization, is a Board Certified Behavior Analyst, COBA certified, and is working towards her certification in Autism Fitness. She is passionate about helping clients reach their full potential and enjoys seeing them achieve both big and small goals. At Building Blocks Therapy, Caroline loves working with the team of individuals who are all dedicated to the clients’ success. She appreciates the positive and fun environment for both clients and staff and values the opportunity to learn something new from her clients every day.

Sarah James, BCBA

Sarah, a dedicated ABA professional, was initially drawn to the field by her fascination with understanding human behavior. Her journey in ABA, particularly in Autism, deepened her commitment as she witnessed its profound impact on children and families. Sarah excels in teaching functional language skills, behavior reduction, and feeding therapy, focusing on enhancing children’s social interactions. With experience across a range of settings, from homes to schools and clinics, Sarah has worked with individuals aged 2 to 65 with various developmental and mental health disorders. Her approach emphasizes skill-building in communication, social interaction, and adaptive living, aimed at fostering independence and joy in familial and community life. Sarah’s passion lies in helping children communicate and engage with the world meaningfully. At Building Blocks Therapy, she values the company’s emphasis on joy and work-life balance.

Kelly Coleman, BCBA

Kelly Coleman, originally from Indiana, found her calling in ABA during her time at the University of Dayton, where she was majoring in Education and minoring in Psychology. Her passion for working with individuals with disabilities, sparked in high school through Best Buddies, grew as she became an RBT. After completing her undergrad, Kelly immediately pursued a master’s in Applied Behavior Analysis at Ball State University. With a range of experience from working with individuals aged 2 to 26, Kelly is particularly passionate about early intervention in young children. She is skilled in both DTT and NET, valuing the role of naturalistic teaching in developmental progress. Kelly is also certified in PFA/SBT, LAMP, First Aid, CPR, and safety care. At Building Blocks Therapy, Kelly appreciates the supportive, community-focused environment. She is committed to staying current with evidence-based therapies and is dedicated to making a difference in the lives of her clients and their families.

Erin Bailosky-Arter, BCBA

While in college, Erin worked as a nanny for a child with ASD and was inspired to pursue a career working with children on the spectrum. Erin loves working on social skills development and executive functioning skills and enjoys training and teaching others. Erin has worked with kids of all ages, has a Bachelor of Arts in Organizational Leadership, a Master of Education, and is a Board Certified Behavior Analyst. Erin is passionate about ABA and working with children and families affected by Autism Spectrum Disorder. She loves working at Building Blocks Therapy because it is child-centered, flexible, and offers custom-made treatment plans to each child.
